Sungard Ambit provides universal banking solutions that help banks deliver a broad range of banking products and services for retail and wholesale banking. System Access provides solutions for back-office transaction processing, front-office multi-channel delivery, card management and payments. Ambit Core Banking covers general and international banking activities; treasury, investment management, corporate finance and retail banking. Ambit EBS also offers seamless integration between front and back office functional units within the bank - from tellers function, dealing, operations and settlements, credit and risk control, to accounting and management.

Ambit Core Banking - (formerly based on System Access Symbols)
Sungard’s Ambit EBS serves the retail, corporate and wholesale banking, treasury and trade requirements of banks worldwide. Banks rely on Ambit to provide straight-through transaction processing for front-to-back office operations with on-line real-time processing capabilities. Supporting multi-currency, multi-language international banking requirements, System Access also offers connectivity with national clearing systems, SWIFT and I-BAN.
Customer Service Manager -
Sungard’s Customer Service Manager helps banks deploy the most appropriate business services across multiple channels for their customers. It enables effective customer business processing based on a tailored platform with a single view of the customer across the whole enterprise. It facilitates integrated customer communications and marketing campaigns that are driven by user-configurable business process flows and rules. Developed on SOA and BPM principles, the Customer Service Manager helps enable the transition of customer service from sales to origination and fulfillment.
CardPro -
Sungard’s CardPro provides a card and payment solution for banks, supporting the major card payment networks. CardPro provides transaction authorizations, dispute and chargeback management, merchant account management, and payments and collections management.

Platform:
Hardware and Operating System Independent: Ambit EBS can be implemented on wide variety of RISC based processors, Intel based processors and IBM Z Series. It supports a wide variety of Operating Systems including UNIX, Linux, Windows 2000, Z/OS.
Open Standards Based: Ambit EBS is constructed using industry standard Java/J2EE Tools and UML/Object Modeling tools, eCRM and eFinance Modules can be deployed on any JDBC compliant database like Oracle 8i and Oracle 9i, Sybase, Informix, DB2 and SQL Server. Ambit Enterprise Operations Centre runs on Oracle 9i. It is constructed by using the Oracle Toolset.
Multi -Tiered: Ambit supports Transaction Processing monitors such as BEA Tuxedo 8.0. The middleware and the Adapter approach ensure flexible and secure connectivity to legacy and third party systems, with the possibility to use other middleware systems.
