Overview:
Real-Time Center (RTC) is based in Berne and was founded in 1973. The company is a leading bank IT outsourcing company in Switzerland. RTC markets software products, outsourced solutions, operations, support, and training.
The central product of RTC is the total-banking solution IBIS. This multilingual and multi-client-capable system for universal and private banks assists over 80 institutions in their daily business. IBIS covers all the main business areas of cantonal (regional Swiss) and universal banks, and ranges to asset management firms. It supports all important value and process chains. The IBIS banking platform is continually being developed and represents the core business of the IT service provider.
RTC's customers include banks, service providers, administrative departments, and governmental organizations. Having developed IBIS, a standard solution for banks, as well as the desktop and system management product RENO Suite, RTC has gathered extensive knowledge in the migration and management of large bank applications and in operating mainframe systems and server environments. RTC provides know-how in designing and managing complex networks, up to the highest level of security solutions including firewalls. Filing and backup services, a fully equipped printing and shipping center, and comprehensive education and helpdesk services complete RTC's portfolio.
RTC's headquarter is located in Bern-Liebefeld with an additional branch office in Zurich. Two data centers are maintained by RTC in the Bern area.

Legacy cobol applications have been renewed in a consistent J2EE
architecture.
RTC has integrated Legando - a securities processing solution using the Incentage Middleware - into IBIS.
