Overview:
Cobis Systems Corporation (Cobiscorp) is a developer and provider of banking systems under the brand name COBIS. Developed in Ecuador, Cobiscorp solutions are used in commercial banks, microfinance banks, community banks (limited service area banks), savings and loan societies, associations, cooperatives and credit unions. Cobiscorp’s market area is Latin America, the Caribbean, and North America.
Cobiscorp is based in the United States, and all of its intellectual property is registered in the US. It is the parent company of Ecuadorian affiliate Macosa, SA, and US subsidiary Microbanx Systems, LLC.

Cobiscorp offers core banking software and support in two primary formats:
Cobiscorp licenses software for installation in an established infrastructure and IT system, such as is found in many medium and large banks in corporate or retail banking sectors.
Cobiscorp is also an Internet Business Service Provider (iBSP) focused on revolutionizing the operating efficiency of microfinance institutions, small banks and cooperatives (MFIs) by delivering subscription-based information processing solutions. COBIS technology integrates powerful banking software, information management, and support services with a modern computing infrastructure, allowing MFIs to use world-class technology on an incremental subscription basis.
