The Dimensions applications are based on eFin technology which is described as a combination of a Core Banking Application and a Development Environment. eFin is developed in Java and it follows a fully object oriented architecture. The feature rich libraries of eFin combined with the architecture allow code reuse in web based application developments that are simple and easy to use. eFin is platform and database independent. It is designed using SOA principles. All banking modules are developed as an extension from the core eFin packages.

technology needs of Islamic banking world. This product is built using the open source Java/J2EE based frameworks.
