Overview:
Datapro, Inc. is a U.S. based software development company that was established in 1976. The company's Head Office is in the city of Coral Gables, Florida. Today Datapro has over 150 customers currently using their products in 28 countries.
The products meet the regulatory and commercial practices of all countries in the Americas. Their customer base covers the range from agencies of foreign banks in the U.S. to offshore banks in Central and South America, and the Caribbean.
The company also offers outsourcing services to US and foreign banks through their subsidiary Global Outsource Services founded in 2003, and also based in Coral Gables, Florida.

The Integrated Banking System (IBS) is designed to automate a financial institution's daily operations. The system offers its users full operational integration, total process control, and also provides dynamic elements to expedite management decision making.
The system's flexible design and ease of use reduce user dependence on technical staff. Its parameter driven architecture facilitates new product development with speed and efficiency to take advantage of market opportunities.

Datapro’s e-IBS platform is the latest generation of the mature IBS core banking platform. The e-IBS is designed in Java Browser Technology with HTML screens and runs under a communications scheme using Java and communication sockets via the Internet or Intranet.

Platform: e-IBS Core Banking operates its business logic layer on the IBM I5 server using DB2 database, its presentation layer can be implemented on any application server that supports the J2EE standard. The presentation layer is written in JAVA and the business logic layer in ILERPG. Datapro has developed a version where the business logic layer is also written in JAVA allowing its implementation on any platform that supports the J2EE standard and will be available for ORACLE, DB2 and SQL databases. Datapro worked with IBM on the SOA architecture of the full Java-based e-IBS release. As of Jan 2010: BBA Bank in Aruba, a new offshore operation that is part of Venezuelan group, Banvalor, became the first user of the new Java-based core system from Datapro | eIBS-Java
